Ariana Grande
Born in Boca Raton, Florida, in 1993, Ariana Grande grew up between musical theatre and youth television. Spotted on stage in the Broadway musical 13 in 2008, she went on to join the Nickelodeon series Victorious and its spin-off Sam & Cat, which established her as both a performer and an actress. In parallel, Grande built a pop and R&B career with the album Yours Truly (2013), shaped by soul influences and rooted in 1990s R&B, followed by My Everything (2014) and Dangerous Woman (2016), where ballads, dance-pop tracks, and forays into trap intertwine. With Sweetener (2018) and Thank U, Next (2019), she steered her writing toward more introspective themes—romantic relationships, media exposure, and personal rebuilding—while expanding collaborations with the North American rap and R&B scene. Positions (2020) and then Eternal Sunshine (2024) extend this melodic pop-R&B aesthetic, incorporating slower tempos and a more stripped-down production, as she continues to take on film and television roles, notably in musical projects and filmed stage musicals.
