Jamie Webster returns to the stage to showcase Running Round The Sun at an album launch show at Jacaranda Baltic in Liverpool on 21 August 2026. A songwriter rooted in his city, he moves between British folk and indie rock, with forthright writing that speaks to everyday life, work, the streets and social disparities, without mincing words. Initially spotted in the pub scene and in songs performed acoustically, he gradually established a personal repertoire, built on choruses meant to be sung by many and a highly narrative way of telling those he meets.
On stage, his set often takes on a choral dimension, between group energy and more stripped-back guitar moments. This concert is an opportunity to hear the new tracks from Running Round The Sun live, in the continuity of a discography that has established his style: direct songs, city-centered, carried by a rock edge and a melodic sense that quickly grabs you.
