On June 19, 2027, Delamere Forest hosts a double bill that puts two very British hit-making machines on the same stage.
Madness bring their Camden-born mix of ska, pop and new wave, built on tight rhythms, brass lines and stories pulled from everyday life. From the 2 Tone era to later, more melodic pop, the band’s catalogue spans decades, with landmark records like One Step Beyond..., Absolutely and The Rise & Fall, and a live identity sharpened through constant returns to the stage since their early days.
Scouting For Girls open the night with their piano-led pop rock: quick hooks, big choruses and lyrics that lean into relationships and coming-of-age snapshots. Formed in mid-2000s London, the trio have kept that direct, sing-along format across albums from their 2007 debut through Everybody Wants to Be on TV and beyond, made for a crowd that likes songs you can catch on the first listen.
