Kim Wilde brings The Singles Tour to York Barbican in York on 28 March 2027. Centered on the singles that traced her path from early new wave and synth-pop into a leaner pop-rock pulse, the set digs into the run that began with Kim Wilde, Select and Catch as Catch Can, then moved through Teases & Dares, Another Step and Close, and later phases like Love Moves, Love Is and Here Come the Aliens. With longtime collaborator Ricky Wilde shaping the sound on stage, she anchors those tracks with bright keyboards, clipped guitar lines and unfussy choruses, giving familiar cuts a live punch without losing their original edge.
Joining the bill, US singer Tiffany revisits the melodic pop that broke out with her 1987 debut and her take on I Think We’re Alone Now, before pivoting toward a more adult pop tone on New Inside and the songwriter turn of The Color of Silence. Live, she blends pop-rock textures and ballads pulled from a catalogue that now includes A Million Miles, Pieces of Me and Shadows. Two artists from parallel corners of 80s pop, back with bands that keep the focus on songs that have grown and shifted with them over time.
