Stony Stone

This collaboration sparks curiosity and will be unveiled live on April 22, 2026, at the I.Boat in Bordeaux. Stony Stone and Boumidjal X bring their worlds together for a concert that puts their joint project front and center.

Boumidjal X, a producer with an immediately recognisable tag and a highly sought-after hitmaker, crosses his vision with that of Stony Stone, a rising figure from the 13th. Together they push the boundaries between rap, dark melodies and sudden bursts of light.

Stony, who established 2-step rap in France as his signature, reveals here a more introspective and melancholic side. Opposite him, Boumidjal X weaves refined, cinematic productions where tension and emotion answer one another effortlessly.

The project Bougie dans le noir, a 14-track record, serves as the guiding thread. Borrowed from the intro, its title says it all: seeking a glimmer at the heart of darkness, moving forward without illuminating everything, letting the voice and textures speak.

On this terrain, Stony explores new colors, carried by carefully crafted, enveloping instrumentals. Guests TK, Danyl and Gisèle add dimension without diverting attention from the core focus: a constant dialogue between Stony’s writing and Boumidjal X’s ear.

On stage, this apparent opposition becomes a true complementarity. The set is conceived as a concentrated journey, where each piece finds its place and tells the story of an alliance between studio precision and live energy.
