Between rap, R&B and funk, A2H has been developing since the early 2010s a hybrid aesthetic where singing occupies as much space as flow. Originally from Melun in the Paris region and now based in Paris, the rapper, singer and producer first drew attention with a series of self‑produced projects and local collaborations before structuring his work around the Palace label, which he uses as a framework for recordings and concerts. A2H gradually established himself on the French scene with regular releases, culminating in the album L’amour in 2017, followed by L’amour 2 in 2019 and Une rose et une lame in 2020, where he affirms a blend of melodic rap, modern soul and sometimes dancehall‑tinged sounds. His songs address romantic relationships, the relationship to the body, partying and more introspective observations, in a format that oscillates between club track and R&B ballad. Alongside his records, A2H multiplies features with other francophone rap artists and has developed on stage a format combining rap performance, singing and quieter, intimate moments, reflecting the diversity of his discography.
