Cloonee

Emerging from the British electronic scene, Cloonee has built a trajectory since the mid-2010s centered on house and tech house. His sound is dry and direct, built around thick basslines, tight percussion and short vocal samples, often borrowed from hip-hop or R&B. His early releases circulated primarily within European house circles before Cloonee gradually steered his production toward a more stripped-down, frontal approach designed for the club and long DJ mixes. Tracks like Be Good To Me, Like What? and Sun Goes Down chart this evolution, showing a shift from a UK-inflected, more flexible house to a tenser, more minimalist tech house that emphasizes rhythmic impact. Cloonee also structures part of his activity around Hellbent, a name associated with both his releases and events.
