Prospa
Behind Prospa are Harvey Blumler and Gosha Smith, two producers from Leeds in northern England who have been active on the British electronic scene since the mid‑2010s. Prospa develops a sound rooted in house, techno and breakbeat, with a pronounced taste for 1990s rave textures, acid lines and direct but flexible rhythms. The duo gained attention through a series of singles and EPs that circulated in clubs as well as radio sets, before broadening their audience across Europe. Prospa’s writing favors short, taut and melodic tracks, often built around vocal samples, gradual buildups and an energy closely tied to English club culture. Their trajectory follows the continuity of a dance tradition from the north of the UK while retaining a contemporary production designed for both the dancefloor and attentive listening. Prospa thus operates between club formats, festivals and DJ sets, with an identity that links euphoric house, broken percussion and rave heritage without committing to a single register.
