After a childhood in Shreveport, Louisiana, and a move to Nashville, Jordan Davis has become part of the new wave of American country that blends traditional songwriting with contemporary production. Initially trained as a writer before stepping into performing, Davis has shaped a sound in which country is colored by melodic pop and rock touches, with lyrics centered on everyday life, relationships, and the American South. Noticed in the mid-2010s on Nashville’s songwriter scene, he released a self-titled debut EP in 2017, paving the way for his 2018 album "Home State."
