Tyler Hubbard

Raised in Monroe, Georgia and shaped by Nashville’s country scene, Tyler Hubbard first established himself as a singer, guitarist and songwriter in the duo Florida Georgia Line, which he formed with Brian Kelley in the late 2000s while studying at Belmont University. Through that project Hubbard helped popularize a hybrid country sound that blended pop choruses, rock guitars and touches of hip‑hop, releasing several studio albums between 2012 and 2021. At the same time he worked as a songwriter for other mainstream country artists, taking part in numerous co‑writing sessions across Nashville’s studio network. When Florida Georgia Line went on hiatus in the early 2020s, Hubbard launched a solo career and refocused his work on a more classic country vein built around personal narratives, radio‑friendly melodies and arrangements rooted in the contemporary Nashville format. Recording under his own name, he released his solo debut “Tyler Hubbard” in 2023, followed by “Strong” in 2024, which display his taste for direct choruses, carefully crafted vocal harmonies and a measured blend of country, pop and rock sounds, while preserving the narrative songwriting codes that have characterized much of his career.
