Dustin Lynch
Dustin Lynch was born in Tullahoma, Tennessee, and established himself on Nashville’s country scene with songwriting rooted in contemporary country, marked by pop touches and light rock production. As a teenager he took up the guitar again, played the Bluebird Café and continued his studies in Nashville, where his career took shape before he signed with Broken Bow Records in 2011. He released his self-titled debut album in 2012, followed by Where It’s At (2014), Current Mood (2017), Tullahoma (2020), Blue in the Sky (2022) and Killed the Cowboy (2023); he also released the EP Ridin’ Roads in 2019. His repertoire alternates between sentimental ballads, mid-tempo country and songs leaning toward pop-country, featuring a clear voice and very accessible melodies. Over the years Lynch has become a fixture on the American country circuit while occasionally co-writing for other artists. Notable collaborations include a new version of “Thinking ’Bout You” with MacKenzie Porter in 2021 and “Tequila on a Boat” with Chris Lane. He has been a member of the Grand Ole Opry since 2018.
