Lee Brice

Born in Sumter, South Carolina, in 1979, Lee Brice has established himself on Nashville’s country scene as a singer-songwriter blending contemporary country, rock influences, and vocal-driven ballads. After a stint in college football, Brice turned to songwriting in the early 2000s, first penning songs for other artists—including Garth Brooks, Tim McGraw, and the Eli Young Band—before developing his own catalog. Signed to Curb Records, he released his debut studio album, Love Like Crazy, in 2010, followed by Hard 2 Love in 2012, I Don’t Dance in 2014, a self-titled album in 2017, and Hey World in 2020, releases that steadily established his name within U.S. country radio. Brice’s music is marked by a mix of mid-tempo tracks and narrative ballads focused on relationships, everyday life, and Southern roots, with instrumentation that blends acoustic guitars, rock touches, and mainstream country arrangements. A regular presence at festivals and on national touring circuits, Lee Brice balances writing for other singers with his solo career, steadily carving out a distinct place in contemporary American country music.
