Cole Swindell
Born in Glennville, Georgia in 1983 and raised in Dawson, Cole Swindell is part of Nashville’s contemporary country scene, with songwriting that blends country radio and country pop. After studying at Georgia Southern University, he moved to Nashville in 2007, initially working in Luke Bryan’s circle while developing a parallel career as a songwriter for other artists, penning songs for Luke Bryan, Craig Campbell, Thomas Rhett and Scotty McCreery, among others. A publishing deal with Sony/ATV in 2010 preceded his solo launch, which began in 2013 with the single “Chillin’ It” and the album Cole Swindell in 2014. He followed with You Should Be Here (2016), All of It (2018), Stereotype (2022) and Spanish Moss (2025). His career alternates between sentimental songs, more direct formats for the American country stage and occasional collaborations like “Flatliner” with Dierks Bentley and “Never Say Never” with Lainey Wilson. From the start he has operated within the mainstream country touring circuit, first as a writer and then as a headlining artist.
