Paris-based French producer and DJ Romain Garcia crafts a melodic house sound that sits between deep, progressive and trance influences, with tracks built around synth pads, supple basslines and melodies pushed to the forefront. He emerged at the turn of the 2020s on the European electronic scene with a run of EPs and singles—most notably via releases on the UK label Anjunadeep—which positioned him within the contemporary melodic and emotive strain of house music. His aesthetic draws as much from club culture as from a pop sensibility, regularly incorporating vocals and harmonies akin to indie electronic.
