Palaye Royale
Formed in Las Vegas in 2008 by brothers Remington Leith, Sebastian Danzig and Emerson Barrett, Palaye Royale began under the name Kropp Circle before adopting its current identity in 2011, a reference to the Palais Royale in Toronto where their grandparents met. Palaye Royale develops a rock shaped by art rock, glam rock, garage rock and rock'n'roll, with a marked stage and visual aesthetic drawing as much from the 1960s and 1970s as from punk and more recent alternative rock. After a first EP released in 2010 under their former name and the single "Morning Light" in 2012, the trio gained attention on the American independent rock scene and later signed with Sumerian Records. Their studio discography is organised around Boom Boom Room (Side A) in 2016, Boom Boom Room (Side B) in 2018, The Bastards in 2020, Fever Dream in 2022 and Death or Glory in 2024. Palaye Royale has also built its career on the road, through the Warped Tour, North American and European tours, and opening slots for Rob Zombie and Marilyn Manson. Across their releases, Palaye Royale has broadened its spectrum by incorporating darker, more melodic or theatrical accents while retaining a direct songwriting style and a trio rock identity strongly centered on the stage.
