VOILÀ

Anchored by the voice of British singer Gus Ross and the production of Californian musician Dylan Jagger Lee, VOILÀ is part of a Los Angeles–based alternative pop scene that sits between indie pop, pop rock and electronic influences. The duo VOILÀ emerged in the late 2010s with a series of singles released on streaming platforms, developing a sound built around catchy melodies, guitars that are present but often wrapped in synthetic textures, and first-person songwriting. VOILÀ’s songs mainly deal with romantic relationships, emotional vulnerability and everyday tensions, with a vocal approach that highlights the contrast between intimate verses and more expansive choruses.
