Yungblud

Dominic Harrison, born in Doncaster, England in 1997, performs under the stage name Yungblud. His music follows a hybrid rock vein, blending pop-punk, alternative rock, hip‑hop influences and touches of spoken word. After several singles released online from 2017, Yungblud issued a self-titled EP in 2018, followed the same year by the album “21st Century Liability,” noted for lyrics focused on youth, social alienation and questions of identity. In 2019 the EP “The Underrated Youth” expanded that approach with a more openly political tone, before the album “Weird!” (2020) explored themes of mental health and social norms on a more overtly pop-rock sound. Yungblud has collaborated with artists from rock, pop and rap, including Halsey, Travis Barker, Machine Gun Kelly and Bring Me The Horizon, and performs internationally with an aesthetic that mixes punk imagery, internet culture and contemporary British references. The 2022 album “Yungblud” synthesizes these facets into more direct, melodic formats.
