Weathers

Formed in Los Angeles in 2015, Weathers sits at the intersection of alternative rock, indie rock, pop rock and an emo sensibility, with direct choruses, crisp guitars and lyrics focused on coming of age, anxiety and mental health. The band centers on singer Cameron Boyer alongside guitarist Cameron Olsen, bassist Brennen Bates and, currently, drummer Christian Champion; before adopting the name Weathers the project circulated as Above Seclusion and then Signal City, reflecting a gradual shaping of its identity. Weathers drew attention with its early singles in the mid‑2010s and expanded to full‑length format with Kids in the Night in 2018 after two prior EPs. The follow‑up period included several singles and EPs, such as Our Little Secret (2020) and Our Other Little Secret (2021), before the album Pillows & Therapy later that year. In 2023, Weathers continued this trajectory with Are We Having Fun?, where the band accentuates its blend of melodic rock, emotional tension and more pop‑oriented songwriting. On stage, Weathers has circulated through the American alternative scene alongside acts like Saint Motel, Nothing But Thieves, K.Flay, Badflower and The Maine.
