Hot Since 82

Under the name Hot Since 82, Daley Padley from Barnsley in South Yorkshire, England, has developed since the early 2010s a career focused on club house, positioned between deep house and tech house. His approach relies on supple rhythms, thick basslines, progressive build-ups and frequent work with vocals, offering an aesthetic that is warm, direct and geared toward the dancefloor. Hot Since 82 quickly emerged on the British electronic scene with several notable releases and widened his international profile with the track "Bigger Than Prince" in 2013, a collaboration with Green Velvet. Alongside his DJ activity in European clubs, Ibiza and international electronic stages, he launched the label Knee Deep in Sound in 2014, which structures a substantial part of his discography and artistic identity. Over the years Hot Since 82 has evolved his musical language toward a broader and sometimes more melodic house, while retaining a clear grounding in a pared-down, continuous club orientation.
