Cristoph

Born in Newcastle in the north of England, Cristoph is part of a house and progressive lineage shaped by both the Chicago scene and British club culture. Initially trained as a vinyl DJ, he cut his teeth in local clubs before developing a production style that blends melodic house, progressive house and atmospheric techno, with tracks built around slow builds, crisp basslines and a pronounced sense of tension. After an early breakthrough with the track “Alone” on Knee Deep In Sound, the label founded by Hot Since 82, Cristoph’s trajectory took a step up through his association with Eric Prydz, who invited him onto the Pryda Presents project. That collaboration firmly established him on an international club and festival circuit oriented toward progressive club electronic music. In 2018 Cristoph released “Breathe” with CamelPhat on Pryda Presents, and later reunited with vocalist Jem Cooke for the more melodic, vocal-led “Slowly Burning.” Since then he has continued to focus on DJing and EP and single releases, navigating between deep house, cinematic textures and dancefloor energy.
