Mark Knight
Within the British house scene, Mark Knight has developed since the early 2000s a career as a producer, DJ and remixer centered on direct club music, built around firm grooves, driving basslines and a balance between house, tech house and disco accents. Mark Knight founded Toolroom Records in 2003, a label that became the primary outlet for his releases and a major part of his activity in electronic music. His profile grew in the mid‑2000s with a series of productions and remixes widely played in clubs, followed by collaborations such as "Man with the Red Face" with Funkagenda in 2008 and "Downpipe" with D. Ramirez and Underworld in 2009. Active on international house circuits, Mark Knight alternates DJ sets, original productions and remixes within an aesthetic aimed at the dancefloor, yet structured with clear arrangements, progressive builds and a recurring role for vocal elements. Mark Knight also remains closely associated with Toolroom's identity, both as an artist and as a figure in the contemporary house scene.
