Deorro
Under the name Deorro, Erick Orrosquieta has built a career within the American EDM scene since the mid-2000s, anchored in California between Los Angeles, where he was born in 1991, and West Covina, where he grew up. Initially active under the alias TON!C, Deorro made his mark with productions focused on Dutch house, electro house and Melbourne bounce—club-oriented tracks featuring direct rhythms, short buildups and a very upfront energy. After starting out as a teenage DJ at local parties, he gained visibility in the early 2010s through remixes and releases such as “Yee” (2013) and “Five Hours” (2014). He then expanded his collaborations with producers and artists from electronic and pop music, including Steve Aoki, Diplo, R3hab, Chris Brown and Elvis Crespo, while continuing to perform at international festivals and clubs. His debut album Good Evening was released in 2017, followed by ORRO in 2022, where he pushed further the crossover between EDM and Latin sounds already evident on several singles. This evolution broadened Deorro’s palette toward more vocal-driven formats without abandoning a dance-oriented aesthetic.
