Fred Falke

Trained as a bassist in southern France, Fred Falke turned to electronic production in the late 1990s and gradually established himself on the French house scene. Working closely with Alan Braxe on the Vulture label, he released a series of maxis in the early 2000s that defined a sound blending melodic house, disco influences and prominent basslines—a hallmark of his songwriting. Alongside these releases, Falke built a steady career as a remixer for international pop and electronic projects, expanding his reach beyond the French club network and bringing him closer to British and North American scenes. From the mid-2000s he joined the UK production collective Xenomania, contributing in the studio to tracks aimed at mainstream pop while continuing to develop his own material. His first solo album, Part IV, was released in 2011 and condenses this dual culture between instrumental house, nu-disco and song formats; since then Fred Falke has alternated between releases under his own name, collaborations and DJ sets.
