Busy P

DJ Pedro Winter is better known by his stage name Busy P. A Parisian DJ influenced by the French Touch sound, Pedro Winter is a passionate fan of hip‑hop and electro; he began DJing at parties at age 17 at the What’s Up Bar and eventually started his own nights — the Hype parties at Folies Pigalle. He later took up residence at Le Fumoir du Palace, where he met many of the top DJs. In 1996 he became the manager of Daft Punk, a collaboration that lasted about twelve years. He ended that management role to devote himself fully to his own label, Ed Banger Records, founded in 2003. Alongside running Ed Banger, Pedro Winter launched his solo career as Busy P. In search of new talent, Busy P has produced artists on his label such as Mr. Oizo, Breakbot and Justice. In 2011 Busy P released the album “Let the Children Techno” and toured worldwide with concerts and club nights. Two years later he performed at numerous festivals, including the Eurockéennes de Belfort and the Festival des Vieilles Charrues.
