Boys Noize

Alexander Ridha, aka Boys Noize, is a German producer, DJ and composer from Hamburg, now based in Berlin. A major figure in contemporary electronic music, he developed a fascination with machines and club culture in his teens. After making his mark on dancefloors with early sets and productions, he founded Boysnoize Records, a label that has become a worldwide reference for lovers of techno, electro and underground house. His debut album Oi Oi Oi revealed a sound both abrasive and danceable, blending mechanical rhythms, distortion and sharp melodies, propelled by the cult track “Don’t Believe The Hype.” Equally instinctive and experimental, Boys Noize built an international reputation with bold remixes of Tiga, Para One, Feist, Depeche Mode and Bloc Party, constantly pushing the boundaries between electronic music, pop and rock. Backed by key figures on the global scene such as Justice, SebastiAn and Erol Alkan, he represents a generation of artists who redefined club energy around the turn of the 2000s. His subsequent albums, including Power and Out of the Black, confirmed his taste for raw sounds and unpredictable structures while paving the way for collaborations with Skrillex (Dog Blood), Mr. Oizo (Handbraekes) and Jean‑Michel Jarre.
