Cobrah

Active on the Swedish electronic scene since the late 2010s, Cobrah has developed a project positioned between experimental pop, hyperpop and bass‑heavy club music. Based in Stockholm, she builds her tracks around percussive rhythms, vocal lines that are part spoken and part sung, and industrial textures, drawing equally on techno, dancehall and the sounds of queer clubs. The first EP clearly identified in her international trajectory is “COBRAH,” released in 2021, noted for its direct songwriting, explicit sexual themes and a visual aesthetic she oversees herself. In 2023 the EP “SUCCUBUS” deepened the tension between short pop formats and constructions designed for the dancefloor, featuring repetitive choruses and sharply cut breaks. On stage, Cobrah moves between vocal performance and DJ energy, fitting into a network of parties and festivals where European club culture artists and LGBTQIA+ audiences intersect. From single to single, she consolidates a strongly coded universe in which identity, body and pleasure are treated as central materials of her electronic music.
