Danny L Harle

British producer, composer and DJ Danny L Harle emerged in the mid-2010s within the circle of the London collective PC Music, of which he is a founding member. Trained in composition at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama with Julian Anderson, Danny L Harle has developed a sound that links pop songwriting, harmonies drawn from his classical training, and club registers such as eurodance, melodic trance and happy hardcore. His solo releases — from “Broken Flowers” in 2015 to “Super Natural” with Carly Rae Jepsen in 2017 — outline a project where songcraft and electronic music advance together. At the same time, he has worked as a writer and producer for Caroline Polachek, Charli XCX, Dua Lipa and Lil Uzi Vert, notably contributing to Caroline Polachek’s 2019 album Pang. His album Harlecore, released in 2021, organizes these influences into a rave-centered format conceived as a fictional club inhabited by multiple DJ characters, while his activities continue to span remixes, pop collaborations and electronic stages.
