The Interrupters

Formed in Los Angeles in 2011, The Interrupters bring together Aimee Allen, who became Aimee Interrupter on vocals, with the Bivona brothers, Kevin on guitar, Justin on bass, and Jesse on drums. The band sits in a ska-punk lineage nourished by punk rock, street punk, and 2-tone, with short, tight, melodic songs driven by dry rhythms and direct choruses. The Interrupters take shape after the meeting of Aimee Allen and the Bivona brothers on the road, then quickly develop their live activity alongside Rancid, The Transplants, Bad Religion, or The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, while also participating in Tim Timebomb and Friends by Tim Armstrong, which will produce part of their discography. After several first singles in 2013, The Interrupters release the album The Interrupters in 2014, followed by Say It Out Loud in 2016, Fight the Good Fight in 2018 and In the Wild in 2022. Their journey has been built between the California punk scene, rock festivals, and international ska circuits, with a quartet format centered on collective energy, ska-derived offbeats, and writing that blends punk urgency with pop accents.
