The Bouncing Souls bring their East Coast punk, born in New Brunswick, New Jersey, in the late 1980s, between melodic hardcore, pop punk and choruses designed to be sung along by crowds. The band built its trajectory with short songs and direct energy, from The Good, the Bad & the Argyle to How I Spent My Summer Vacation, without letting go of that street-punk edge that sticks to their live shows.
The Flatliners, a quartet from Richmond Hill near Toronto, arrive with a sound that has slid from early ska punk toward a tighter punk rock, sometimes rough, with hardcore edges and well-defined melodies. From Destroy to Create to New Ruin, they keep this mix of urgency and solid writing, built for the stage.
The Suicide Machines round out the lineup with their ska/punk/hardcore blend born in Detroit in the early 1990s. Ska rhythms that accelerate, harsher hardcore passages, and a discography spanning from Destruction by Definition to Revolution Spring, always powered by a very direct live energy.
