Info
Iceage bring their restless Copenhagen-born post‑punk to London on 24 February 2027 at Electric Brixton. Built around vocalist Elias Bender Rønnenfelt with Johan Surrballe Wieth, Dan Kjær Nielsen and Jakob Tvilling Pless, the band has always moved fast, keeping the tension high while reshaping its sound from one record to the next.
Early on, Iceage came up through the DIY circuit with short, abrasive songs and a no‑wave grit that made New Brigade hit like a jolt. Over time, the writing opened out: You’re Nothing pushed the dynamics further, Plowing Into the Field of Love leaned into darker, more melodic shapes, and the later albums brought a broader rock palette without losing that nervous edge.
On stage, that evolution translates into a set that can flip from jagged urgency to more spacious, driving passages, always anchored by a physical, direct band feel. Expect sharp turns, tight pressure, and songs that don’t sit still for long.
