LEMONSUCKR

Formed by Guy Ferris, Oscar Post, Matt Saunders and Ollie Thomas, LEMONSUCKR initially took shape away from the usual circuits, in a sea container installed on a farm, transformed by the group into a rehearsal space, studio and base of operations. This isolated setting accompanied the development of a repertoire later unveiled after LEMONSUCKR settled in Brighton at the end of 2024. The quartet operates at the crossroads of a danceable post-punk, tense indie rock and alternative rock with funk-tinged accents, with tight, rhythmic and direct tracks, propelled by a tightly knit group energy. LEMONSUCKR's first releases appear in 2024, notably the EP H.E.A.T, laying the groundwork for this dry and restless aesthetic. On stage, LEMONSUCKR fits into the dynamic of young British bands who prioritise immediate impact, brisk tempos, and a compact collective presence, in concert formats often linked to small venues and the emergent Brighton scene.
