On October 15, 2026, MPL will perform at Briscope in Brignais. Behind these three letters is a collective born in 2012, initially conceived as a tribute to a late friend, then becoming a true playground for musical and narrative exploration. Their hallmark is a distinctly song-like writing style, but never fixed, that engages with hip-hop, electro, and pop, with a marked fondness for stories, characters, and imagery that extend beyond the tracks.
Five of them, they move forward as a chorus, with that group energy that makes voices and viewpoints circulate, between dark humor and raw, intimate emotion. From LU7 and Ma Pauvre Lucette to L’Étoile, Bonhommes and En Montgolfière (their acoustic reinterpretation released in 2024), MPL builds, album after album, a coherent mythology. On stage, this hybrid identity fully comes into its own: songs that tell their stories, rhythms that shake things up, and a carefully staged presentation, without overdoing it.
