Nach (Anna Chédid)
Born in Paris, Anna Chédid develops under the name Nach a project of French chanson that blends pop, intimate writing and acoustic arrangements centered on the piano and the voice. From a family of musicians, she initially follows a personal path before establishing this solo identity in the mid-2010s with her debut album Nach, released in 2015. Her writing sits in a sensitive and direct vein, attentive to the nuances of language, with songs that move between pop formats, ballads and more organic colors. Alongside her solo work, Nach participates in the family venture led with Louis, Matthieu, Joseph and Anna Chedid, in a collective stage setting that broadens her visibility. She then continues her trajectory with L’Aventure in 2019, followed by a piano-voice album Peau neuve, released in 2021, where the stripped-down approach places even more emphasis on timbre, the text and the relationship to the keyboard. Nach has also developed more intimate forms of speech through the podcast Imagine, extending a universe where song, poetry and narration respond to each other. On stage, Nach favors a sober presence, carried by the voice, the piano and a way of singing that leaves a central space for the words.
