Noé Preszow
Backed by francophone writing that is strongly focused on the lyrics, Noé Preszow fits into the tradition of Belgian chanson while borrowing from pop and a rock with restrained rhythms. Born and based in Brussels, he emerged on the Belgian scene in the late 2010s and reached a wider audience with the single 'À nous', released in 2020. That exposure led to a debut album of the same name, 'À nous', released in 2021, which places Preszow in a register where the voice is central — between singing and an almost spoken phrasing — carried by electric guitars, folk-tinged atmospheres and discreet arrangements. His songs address intimate and social themes, using a direct, sometimes repetitive language over contemporary pop structures. On stage, Noé Preszow performs either with a full band or in a more stripped-back setup, moving between clubs, mid-size venues and festivals in Belgium and France, which gradually grounds his work in the network of contemporary francophone song.
