Grand Corps Malade

Grand Corps Malade returns on tour and will stop at the LDLC Arena in Décines-Charpieu on 19 March 2027. A leading figure of French-language slam since Midi 20, he imposes his precise phrasing and rhythmic delivery, halfway between spoken-word poetry and song. On stage, his deep voice unfolds texts that recount everyday life, memories, quiet indignations and intimate impulses, with a way of inviting listeners to hear as if opening a notebook.

Accompanied by a band that favors understated, sensitive arrangements, the set plays in subtlety: piano, strings and percussion support the diction without masking it. You’ll encounter classics like “Les voyages en train” or “Roméo kiffe Juliette,” rearranged for the stage, alongside more recent tracks born of collaborations, notably with Ben Mazué and Gaël Faye. The through line remains the word—its musicality and its rhythm—between confidences and urban chronicles.
