On October 26, 2026, at Thekla in Bristol, The Browning bring their hypercharged blend of electronicore and metalcore. Built around vocalist and programmer Jonny McBee, the project has been pushing a club-ready metal formula since the late 2000s: jagged riffs, big breakdowns and harsh vocals locked to synth layers, trance-leaning melodies and dubstep-style rhythms. From Burn This World through Hypernova, Isolation, Geist and End of Existence, they’ve refined that crossover into something fast, tight and engineered for the pit as much as for the pulse.
Within Destruction join the bill with a sound that’s shifted from slam-heavy deathcore to a more hybrid, modern metal approach. Since forming in 2010 in Jesenice, Slovenia, they’ve moved from the blunt force of From the Depths, Void and Deathwish toward the sharper mix of nu metalcore textures, electronics and melodic hooks heard on Yōkai and Lotus, while still keeping the heavy core intact. Their recent releases keep playing with that balance between extreme breakdowns and contemporary influences.
