On November 14, 2026, Beabadoobee brings her The Powerlines Tour to the OVO Hydro in Glasgow. Born in the Philippines and raised in London, Beatrice Laus first built her universe with the guitar, in a bedroom setting, before expanding the frame toward a more edgy indie rock. That blend, signature of her sound: crystal-clear melodies, intimate songwriting, and a fondness for 90s guitars that flirt with shoegaze. From early beginnings marked by 'Coffee' to the albums Fake It Flowers, Beatopia, and This Is How Tomorrow Moves, her set promises to navigate between upfront tracks and softer moments, all carried by a direct voice.
As the opening act, WISP (Natalie R. Lu) will extend the shoegaze and nu-gaze atmosphere. From San Francisco, she layers guitar textures, keeps the choruses legible, and sustains an alternative rock tension more abrasive than it might seem. After an inaugural EP, Pandora, and the album If Not Winter, she has established herself with tracks like 'Your Face' and 'Tangled Dreams'—ideal for opening the evening in an electric fog.
