Foster The People bring a DJ set to Village Underground in London on July 31, 2026. Formed in Los Angeles around Mark Foster, the project first took shape on club stages before breaking through with the debut album Torches and its track “Pumped Up Kicks.” Across four studio albums, the band has moved between indie pop, synth-pop, alternative rock and neo-psychedelic shades, balancing melodic hooks with rhythmic drive and electronic textures. Since 2024, Foster The People has centred on Mark Foster and Isom Innis, a duo refining the group’s hybrid production, heard again on Paradise State of Mind.

Behind the decks, they tap the dance current that runs through their music: selections and edits that fold pop sensibility into groove and atmosphere, with tempos sliding from luminous synth lines to funk-leaning patterns. It’s a set shaped by producers as much as performers, translating years of genre-blending into something built for the floor rather than a full band show.
