On June 3, 2027, Tame Impala land at The O2 in London with the “Deadbeat EU/UK Tour 2027” and a set built for big rooms: psychedelic rock that stretches out, locks into a groove, then snaps back into tight pop shapes. Led by Kevin Parker alongside Dom Simper and Jay Watson, the Australian project has spent years refining that mix of hazy guitars, synth-driven swells and melodies that stick, moving from the breakthrough of Innerspeaker and Lonerism into a sleek, modern live sound. Expect a show that plays with tempo and texture as much as with choruses, balancing hypnotic repetition and sudden lifts.
Wet Leg open the night, bringing their Isle of Wight indie rock in its most direct form: sharp guitars, short songs, and vocals that sit somewhere between spoken and sung, cool-headed and dry. Since “Chaise Longue” and their 2022 debut, Rhian Teasdale and Hester Chambers have made a name for concise riffs, deadpan lines and post-punk-leaning pop energy—perfect to warm the room up before the main set.
