Info

On 16 June 2026 at the Warehouse in Nantes, Julian Marley takes the stage with The Uprising for a set rooted in the Jamaican roots tradition. A singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist and son of Bob Marley, he extends the family legacy with spiritual, conscious lyrics, a massive groove and harmonies that remain true to original reggae. A Grammy nominee and collaborator of Lauryn Hill, he has honed his path through albums and tours, culminating in Colors of Royal, created with Antaeus. Live, his reggae relies on a solid rhythm section, crisp skanks and sung melodies that span classics and recent tracks.

Opening the bill, Bleu Soleil lays down a bright, modern electro-dub. The duo Nino and Antonin blend bass music, reggae skanks, UK influences and contemporary pop, propelled by the diamond-certified single “Soleil Bleu” with Luiza, nominated at the Victoires de la Musique. On stage, synthetic textures and emphatic basses shape a hybrid sound conceived for live performance, between club pulses and more airy passages. It is enough to launch the evening on an electronic note before Julian Marley’s roots set arrives.
