Biga Ranx

BigaRanx, whose real name is Gabriel Piotrowski, is a reggae musician from Tours. Born in 1988, he connected with Jamaican sounds at an early age. His first musical thrills came from artists like Alton Ellis and Vybz Kartel, while he also enjoyed US hip‑hop acts. In 2004 he created his own sound system and started touring France with other DJs; he also formed the group Mus Bus with Governor General Rugged. In 2008 he made a splash with Joseph Cotton thanks to a video viewed over a million times. BigaRanx went on to build an international reputation through DJ sets and concerts. His debut album, On Time, produced by the X‑Ray label, was released in 2011. The album confirmed his success and led him to perform at festivals and night events. His standing among his peers is well established, and some of his tracks have been remixed by artists such as Tom Fire and Chinese Man. In 2013 Biga*Ranx returned with Good Morning Midnight.
