Marine
Born in Arras in 2000, Marine Delplace, known as Marine, is part of the new francophone pop song scene as a singer-songwriter and musician. After a childhood split between Arras, Saint-Nicolas and Rivière, she learned piano as a child, later turned to the ukulele and tried the cello while studying dental surgery at the University of Lille. Marine entered singing contests early on, taking part in The Voice Kids in 2015 and reaching the final of the "Y’a d’la voix" showcase at the Casino d’Arras in 2016. In 2022 she independently released the track "Ma faute", a pop ballad focused on lyric and voice that became the cornerstone of her repertoire. Marine gained widespread attention in 2024 by winning the twelfth season of Star Academy, an experience that led to the Star Academy – Tour 2025. Subsequently she sang "Les Corons" at Stade Bollaert during an RC Lens match, reinforcing her ties to northern France. In 2025 she shaped her world between intimate chanson and contemporary pop with her debut album "Cœur maladroit", featuring contributions from, among others, Eddy de Pretto and Joseph Kamel, and supported by the singles "Ma faute", "Cœur maladroit" and "Restes d’averses", the latter included on the soundtrack of the film "Regretting You".
