Linh

Raised in Nice in a family of musicians, Linh—born Pauline Thisse—trained early in singing and piano before joining the children’s choirs at the Opéra de Nice. As a teenager she performed widely in bars, restaurants and events along the Côte d’Azur and was noticed on several talent shows, from Iapiap! to X Factor, N’oubliez pas les paroles!, The Voice and Las Vegas Academy. After earning a degree in language sciences, Linh moved to Paris to focus on songwriting and composition while dividing her time with Brussels. From 2018 she collaborated closely with beatmaker Sacha Tran on her first releases, including Bulle (2020) and Minimum (2021), which established a French-language pop sound tinged with urban variety and contemporary influences. Spotted by Gims’s label Black Star Music, Linh opened for his Décennie Tour and Le Dernier Tour and released singles such as Immortelle and Autour de toi, combining catchy melodies with personal lyrics. A more intimate turn emerged in 2024 with the piano-and-voice ballad Je pense à vous, rooted in the French chanson tradition, followed by her first EP Signé, Linh, where she explores direct, emotionally charged songwriting. Drawing on references from Jean-Jacques Goldman and Édith Piaf to Billie Eilish, Nekfeu and Eminem, Linh develops French-language pop that moves between contemporary variété, strong melodic sensibility and spare arrangements.
