Info
On 19 August 2026 Joji brings Solaris to the Lanxess Arena in Cologne. The Japanese-Australian artist George Kusunoki Miller has sharpened his sound between alternative R&B, pop, lo-fi and hip-hop: slow tempos, sparse electronics and often quietly delivered vocals. From In Tongues (2017) through Ballads 1 (2018) and Nectar (2020) to Smithereens (2022), he has explored intimate, minimalist songs at the intersection of ballad, ambient and trap. Live, he condenses that atmosphere with clear productions and a voice that seeks intimacy rather than force — a set nourished as much by internet culture as by the contemporary pop and R&B scenes.
Also on the bill is Tommy Richman. Raised between Woodbridge, Virginia, and a strong online presence, he blends R&B, pop and melodic rap. Distinctive basslines, trap- and club-derived grooves, and a voice that plays with effects and layers shape his short, direct tracks. Rather than the traditional album format, he focuses on singles that catch on quickly. As an artist on Brent Faiyaz’s ISO Supremacy label, he brings an energetic, band-like live approach without losing sight of his melodic, introspective songwriting.
