Info
On December 7, 2026, beabadoobee brings her “The Powerlines Tour” to the Mitsubishi Electric Hall in Düsseldorf. Behind the name lies Beatrice Kristi Ilejay Laus, born in Iloilo City in the Philippines and raised in London—and it is precisely this mix of approachability and big-city drive that you can hear in her songs. She began with an intimate, lo-fi songwriter aesthetic somewhere between bedroom pop and folk-pop, before her sound opened up more and more: more band, more punch, more ’90s guitars, along with slacker rock and delicate shoegaze textures.
By now, since “Coffee” (2017), she has been moving forward consistently: EPs like Lice, Patched Up or Loveworm led to the debut album Fake It Flowers (2020), which clearly pushes the electric side forward. Beatopia (2022) balances catchy melodies with alternative textures, and with This Is How Tomorrow Moves (2024) she remains true to the core—voice, guitar, songwriting—without getting pinned down to a single style. Live, this translates into songs that can shift between tender diary moments and punchy guitar pop.
