Info

Lucy Kruger & The Lost Boys, led by South African singer and guitarist Lucy Kruger, shapes a noise-tinged art-pop that is open to metamorphosis. Born in 2015 and based in Berlin since 2018, the project moves between intimate folk, experimental rock, dream pop and noise pop. The intimate vocals range from a whisper to declamation, carried by textured guitars and slow arrangements that allow the narrative and tension to breathe.

A series of albums has set the scene, nocturnal and introspective: Sleeping Tapes for Some Girls (2019), Transit Tapes (for women who move furniture around) (2021) and Teen Tapes (for performing your own stunts) (2022). With Heaving (2023), the band explores denser structures, at times approaching post-punk or slowcore, while retaining a strongly narrative songwriting. On stage, Lucy Kruger & The Lost Boys work with volume dynamics, silence and a close rapport with the audience.

To see them on March 29, 2026 at Le Chinois, 6 place du Marché, Montreuil.
