Leroy Se Meurt

Formed in Paris in 2018, Leroy Se Meurt develops a French duo format at the crossroads of old-school EBM, confrontational electro, post-punk and synth-punk. Leroy Se Meurt advances with a minimal, abrasive electronic writing built on dry rhythms, repetitive lines and an intentionally hypnotic tension, while retaining a direct approach inherited from punk. The tracks play on the contrast between sparseness, saturation and physical impact, in an experimental aesthetic that remains readable and nervous. The project uses lyrics in French and Turkish — a choice that contributes to its identity without confining the music to a single scene. Through releases and concerts, Leroy Se Meurt situates itself in a territory common to independent electronic circuits and post-punk scenes, with a raw, taut and deliberately unvarnished sound. This combination of danceable pulse, industrial roughness and DIY spirit places Leroy Se Meurt in a meeting zone between club, live performance and alternative culture.
