She Wants Revenge

Born in Los Angeles' San Fernando Valley, She Wants Revenge formed in 2004 around singer Justin Warfield and musician/DJ Adam Bravin. The duo cultivated a sound that sits between post-punk revival, darkwave, gothic rock and dance-rock, characterized by dry basslines, mechanical rhythms and songwriting marked by a cold, nocturnal tension. Before She Wants Revenge, Warfield came from alternative rap while Bravin worked as a DJ — a crossover that explains the project's balance between rock culture and electronic pulse. The band released a self-titled debut in 2006, followed by This Is Forever in 2007 and Valleyheart in 2011, gradually evolving toward sometimes more melodic songs without abandoning its dark aesthetic. Over the years they toured with Depeche Mode, Placebo and Peter Murphy, and also appeared alongside Timbaland on the 2007 track "Time." After a hiatus announced in 2012, She Wants Revenge resumed activity in 2015, experienced another break in 2020, and restarted recording and performing from 2022.
