ACTORS take over Le Chinois in Montreuil on 23 September 2026 for a dive into the intersection of romantic post-punk and cinematic darkwave. Based in Vancouver, the band led by Jason Corbett (vocals, guitar, production) crafts songs propelled by upfront bass lines, melodic yet cutting guitars, dark synth layers and a deep vocal that sets the scene.

From their early self-produced singles to the album It Will Come to You (2018), and Acts of Worship (2021) on Artoffact Records, ACTORS have honed a tightened songwriting approach in which mechanical rhythms, new wave textures and a melancholic tone respond to one another, with more direct choruses. On stage, the band strikes a balance between cold wave, post-punk and synth-pop, relying on pulse and the efficiency of concise formats.
