Info

Ray LaMontagne brings the Trouble 20th Anniversary Tour to Massey Hall in Toronto on July 10, 2027. Two decades after his debut album, he revisits the songs that set his path — acoustic guitars up front, a grainy voice, folk rock shaded with Americana and a touch of soul. Across albums like Till the Sun Turns Black, Gossip in the Grain, the roots-leaning God Willin’ & the Creek Don’t Rise, the psych detours of Supernova and the stripped-back Monovision, his writing has stayed focused on relationships, doubt and the inner landscape. On stage he shifts between solo intimacy and full-band contours, letting the songs breathe without fuss.

Also on the bill, The Weather Station, the project of Canadian songwriter Tamara Lindeman, folds subtle folk into chamber-pop colors and light jazz inflections. Ignorance (2021) opened her lens to climate and information overload without blurring the details; How Is It That I Should Look at the Stars (2022) pared things back to a quiet, piano-led space. Clear vocals and precise arrangements frame songs that move gently but with intent, sharing the stage with LaMontagne at Massey Hall, 178 Victoria Street, M5B 1T7, Toronto, Canada.
